Snowflakes + Micro Lens = Obsession

Hello all! What a wintery day here in New England, although I wouldn't have it any other way. I have been obsessed with snowflakes! For all that know me it may not come as a surprise that I would desire to capture a moment in time that floats, then lands, then melts away all too quickly. Additionally, the temperature and lighting have to be just right to capture the unique beauty and shape of a snowflake.

Hope you all enjoy as I strive to perfect the art of handheld
(no tripod!)
micro snowflake photography.
